Mohsen Bchir is a multi-disciplinary  environmental artist using primary lens-based media and performance to express his ideas.

Initially, he pursed a degree in industrial biology engineering ( INSAT,TN) specializing in Quality management and project studies. During his undergraduate studies, He was proactive in the art scene of INSAT, joining the Theatro INSAT club where he performed in 3 theatrical comedic plays. Also, Mohsen was part of the Audio-Visual team of “TUNIROBOTS” association, where he served as an artistic director for the national day of Robotics then audio-visual team manager in 2015. He was member of the Ciné-Radio Club (INSAT) assuming several responsibilities across the years to later became the president in 2016.

After graduating in 2018, He received the Fulbright scholarship to pursue master in Fine Arts at Washington State University, specializing in environmental photography, videography and performance. Through his works, Mohsen seeks to better understand his environment and its complex micro and macro interactions connecting humans to their land and to each others in the global context by following approaches of modern storytelling and documentary.

Currently He is a participant in TASAWAR 2020 Curatorial Studios and works as the project coordinator  in tandem with Janet Sabri for ELECTRICAL DISORDER project by INTERFERENCE 20.
