Imen Bahri is a professor of photography and artist.

« Art studies have always been more expensive compared to other disciplines. This situation is exceptionally worsened by the economic crisis in Tunisia; making art studies more inaccessible day by day. This being said, I find that supporting programs like the YMP is very important. Thanks to the open call, young artists have the opportunity to find new ways of expressing themselves creatively. The jury, support throughout the creation process, the curators and the space, all offer a chance for the artists to express themselves and prove their presence on an unusual but highly creative stage. »
