ELECTRICAL DISORDER
ELECTRICAL DISORDER is part of the INTERFERENCE Series, a variety of projects of public discussions, artistic and cultural training, and exhibition projects in the Medina of Tunis. They are developed responding to the Corona pandemic 2020 and the impact on public life and collective being.

ELECTRICAL DISORDER focuses on the ecological issue of e-waste. We want to learn about the impact of the waste stream that results from the increased interaction with digital tools. While there is great attention to the development and innovation of all kinds of devices, their processing after stop functioning is ignored. Serious damage is done and future threads for the eco-system are in place. The project consists of learning units to understand the e-waste issue, of artwork production with artists that refer to e-waste in their praxis, and in public action to develop a mindful change.
