Created in 2016, the Creative Collective is an association founded with and for independent cultural projects, which have the will to regroup, develop and work in symbiosis.
The Creative Collective gathers communities carrying creative, cultural, artistic and social projects that aim to bring a new dynamic, with the medina of Tunis as an anchor, by including the youth and the inhabitants of the neighborhood in this process.
During the three and a half years of the Creative Collective’s activity, a dozen projects have been developed
EL WARCHA (since 2016) Collaborative Design Studio, FANTEK (since 2018) Lab for audio-visual arts, DOOLESHA (since 2016) Alternative guided tours, DOORA FEL HOUMA (since 2018) Participative guides’ project, DOOR WAHDEK (since 2019) Webzine and web-based guide, JOURNAL DE LA MEDINA (since 2016) Participatory newspaper, INTERFERENCE (since 2016 biennial) International Light Art Project, SEE DJERBA (since 2017 biennial) International Media Art Project, CANDELA MEDIA ART LAB (since 2019) Lab for media art, The Creative Collective has to date about ten members and a hundred active volunteers.
Through its various projects, the Creative Collective is involved in a plurality of fields such as cultural heritage, contemporary design, contemporary art, art education, art mediation, audience development and media tools.
