Omeyma Medini is a product designer by background. After obtaining her degree from the Higher Institute of Fine Arts Tunis, she started working on her artistic career through exploring different disciplines and mediums going from painting to drawing and video-art.
In her personal life, the young artist developed a big interest in the concept of fashion. To her, “although the word is usually related to the industry itself, there are always alternative ways and sources for trendy and attractive clothing”. Hence, for her participation in the Young-Masters program, Oumeyma chose the “fast fashion industry and its’ effects on our daily life” as a topic for her creation.
