Syrine Siala is an architect and curator based in Tunis.
Focus of her present activities is the interplay of contemporary art, socio-cultural interventions and socio-economic impacts. Cultural management is as well part of her personal and future interest.
Syrine is part of the core team of INTERFERENCE, International Light Art Project, in tunis and SEE DJERBA, International Media Art Project, in Houmt souk.
Being part of the two Biennials since 2016 allows her to go deeper in the curatorial practice, the process of development with the artists, and to be more involved in the implementation of the project itself. She was heding the “Light In Space Studio” in INTERFERENCE 2018, with Justin Malachowski, where she was caring for 9 international artists, from the first contact till the processof creation and production. In SEE DJERBA, Syrine was as well head of “POLYPLEXITY” Studio with Mariem Essaddi as curators, follwing the same process with 5 artists and young masters.
Since 2017, she’s taking care of the ressources teams of INTERFERENCE and SEE DJERBA, that cares for the fundraising, contact with partners, projects writing, partners communication an reporting
